She retired from PGH where she worked in medical records for 36 years. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother with a great sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed watching birds and squirrels. She was loved and appreciated by her friends and neighbors and attended First Baptist Church in Fruitland.
She is survived by her son, Joseph L. Robertson, Jr.; daughter, Dee F. McCaig-Awais; four grandchildren, Mallory Norris, Patrick Robertson, Katherine McCaig, and Elizabeth McCaig; great-grandson, Logan Robertson; two sisters, Dorothy “Dot” Colbourne and Gail Eskridge and her husband Marty; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert and Thomas Terry and sister Frances McBroom.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 11am at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury. Inurnment will follow in Springhill Memory Gardens.
