Joyce you were a great friend and I tried for years to find you. My mom was just saying she missed the days we would get together playing cards. I will always love you girl. I am so blessed to have been with you and know you are always my sister. Momma Orr and Baby girl I wish I could be there for you.

One of so many beautiful and happy moments.

I met Joyce in 2007 in Salisbury Md. I spent 3 months with her and we became friends even though I lived in Philadelphia Pa we still kept in touch from time to time. I am saddened about her passing she was such a good person who was fun to be around I used to call her my Martha Stewart because she always was decorating and creating something out of nothing. The time we spent together we talked about everything the love she had for all of her children even allowing her oldest to go to San Francisco we had a lot of conversations about Jehovah her health funny stories sad stories we talked about everything during those 3 months. I went to your Facebook page to post how are you and I seen all the post about you not being here and I am bothered by that news. Rest well my friend you were loved 🥰💙💐😍🥺🥺🥺

Joyce, I don’t think you know just how brightly you shined. The world is a dimmer place without you. I know we had our ups and downs, but you are my family. I will continue to love your children as I always have, and look out for them while you are flying free. I hope you know how much I love you, and how much of you is in me. Sleep well mama, until we meet again. 

Words cannot describe my sadness Joyce was a incredible beautiful person I loved her she was a second mom to my kids who loved her dearly I have lots of memories I will forever cherish " LEAN INTO THE TURN JOY "  Until we meet again my sister I love you 

My cousin Yoyo was the physical embodiment of a genuine smile. I will miss our silly and hearfelt conversations about any all things human. She always upbuilt me or encouraged me to keep pushing through.  I am so glad she loved me as not only a bratty cousin but also a good confidant.  I know this moment is temporary and a necessary evolution or change.  Joyce had faith in our maker and one of her favorite reads was the book of Psalms. I will keep her energy and charisma(hopefully), the source of which is eternal!!!!!🥰I have no doubt we will meet again under much better circumstances.  XO cuz💜💜💜

Wow, I'm not sure how to pick 1 memory when there are so many but 1 thing I do know is thanks to you Joyce, I  know if I ever need an alibi it will be I was home watching Shrek. I am gonna miss you so much. Till I see you again.

What a sweet girl, so kind, & always had something nice to say to you!! Such a shock!!Got to see her & talk to her  few months ago on  messenger with  sister Anna !! Bless her heart, rest in peace my dear❤❤❤💖💖 Prayers to her family

Mom, you were truly loved and going to be missed. I remember it like yesterday you picking me up from school and practice telling me to show my muscles! Joyce was incredible, beautiful and hilarious. I love her fully. Thank you for reminding us that "goat tastes like goat!"

When we were little girls she would rub my earlobe so she could fall asleep. Now that she's gone I will miss that but cherish the memory.
