John Alexander Bose, Sr.

John Alexander Bose, Sr. 84, of Delmar passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022 at TidalHealth. Born April 17, 1938 he was the son of the late George and Lillian Bose. Along with his sons John and Ron, John was a homebuilder owning Bose Construction and with his son, John they owned Peninsula Painting for over 20 years. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and was a member of the Seaford Hogs Riding Club.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Wilma Bose; four children, John Alexander Bose, Jr., Ron Bose and his wife, Jean; Deborah Seaton and her husband , Richard, and Christine Walters and her husband Jon; seven grandchildren, John Alexander Bose, III, Ron Bose, Jr., Michael Bose, Amanda Reagan, Carl Witt, Matthew Witt, and Emily Bose; seventeen great- grandchildren, sister, Amelia Morgan; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, Andy and George Bose and sister, Phyllis Heil.

A funeral service will be held Thursday at 1pm at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Wicomico Memorial Park.
