F. Kay Woodward Williams

F. Kay Woodward Williams, 88, of Fruitland passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at her home. Born March 31, 1936 in Cambridge, MD she was the daughter of the late Kermit Albert Woodward and Mary Virginia Cook Woodward. Kay worked at Tiny Tots for 16 years, in the Emergency Department at PRMC for 18 years, Professional Home Health Care, Amedisys Home Health Care and Snow Hill Christion Daycare. She enjoyed volunteering giving out food and ministering to people. She was a member of Washington United Methodist Church.

She is survived by children Virginia “Ginger” Brinson, Kimberly Ann “Kim” Berry (Richard); daughter-in-law, Sheila A. Riall; step children, Malissa Shrieves (Jeff) and Melody Williams; grandchildren, Lena, Cindy, Beth, David, Rob, Lisa, Josh, Jenny, Steven, Kat, and Zaida; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Larry Woodward (Lora); several nieces and nephews and her best friend who was like her sister, Bobbie Calloway. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Allen Williams in 2009 son, Michael Allen Riall in 2009 and son-in-law David Brinson in 2022.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
