Elizabeth "Libby" Godwin White

Elizabeth “Libby” Godwin White, 90, of Parsonsburg passed away Monday, November 11, 2024 at Wicomico Nursing Home in Salisbury. Born July 27, 1934 in Sanford, VA she was the daughter of the late Arvandis and Mary Godwin.

Libby worked as a Nursing Assistant on the Rehab floor at PRMC for over 20 years. She enjoyed flowers in her yard and making flower arrangements. She was a member of Jerusalem United Methodist Church in Parsonsburg.

She is survived by two sons, Rex Andrew White, Sr. and his wife Patricia and Andy White and his wife Michelle; four grandchildren, Rex Andrew White, Jr., Duane White, Tonya Fields and her husband Brian, and Andrew White; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Raymond Godwin and his wife, Barbara; sister, Minnie Yoder; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Andrew F. White; brothers, Sonny Godwin and Nathan Godwin; and twin sister, Edith Smith.

At Libby’s request, all services will be private. She will be interred alongside her husband in Downing Cemetery in Oak Hall, Virginia.
