David Allen Dennis, 55, of Salisbury passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Homer and Joyce Dennis, Jr. He was a loving husband and father who enjoyed spending time with his family especially his dogs, Rex, Baby, Duke, Brownie, and Bella.
He is survived by his wife, Wendy Lee Dennis; step sons, Chad and Cody Payne; stepdaughter, Amy Miller; sisters, Darcy Phipps, Katrina Andrade, and Lisa Dennis; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is also survived by his uncle who raised him, Bill Ziegler. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 6pm at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may call one hour prior to the service. David was always taking in and rescuing animals in need. Donations may be made in his memory to the Wicomico County Humane Society, 5130 Citation Dr., Salisbury, MD 21804.
