Danny Earle Hatton, 66, of Salisbury died Friday, December 26, 2014 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born and raised in Mardela Springs he was the son of the late Dale and Doris Hatton. As a child Danny was a paper delivery boy all around Mardela, was an Eagle Scout, graduated from Mardela High School in 1966, and played in the band Midnight Sound. He then served in the United States Army as an SP-5 in the Vietnam War. He attended Salisbury State and the University of Kentucky. He was the owner of D.E. Hatton, Inc. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed boating and the outdoors. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Patricia L. Hatton; son and daughter-in-law, Earle P. and Kimberly Hatton; grandchildren, Zoie and Zeny Hatton; brother, Martin Lee Hatton and his wife Lynn; sister, Virginia Dale Brewer; sisters-in-law, Faye E. Hatton, Sylvia Meilhammer and her husband Bruce, Sharon Comer, and Deborah Graham; brother-in-law, Richard Ray Culp; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Alan Ray Hatton. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11AM at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury. Interment will follow in Sharptown Fireman’s Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Danny to the West Side Outcasters Fishing Tournament, P.O. Box 85, Bivalve, MD 21814.
