This is Muggs absolutely destroying me in a BHS water polo girls VS boy’s scrimmage. She was small in stature but big in strength both physically and mentality.  She was such a positive person, she was the voice of reason when things were going crazy. I considered here on of my best friends as I’m sure so many of you do as well she will be greatly missed. 

I am so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you at this painful time. I'm wishing you peace and comfort. I used the picture because I know if they were here they would be sending you their love.  God bless you all.

Marganne was always there to listen and support me as my supervisor and confidant. She was a wonderful person, calm, peaceful, fun, funny, smart, caring, thorough and so much more. I am still in shock that this unfortunate accident occurred. 

I had the utmost respect and admiration for Marganne as a coworker and friend. In every aspect of her life she did with strength and grace and was an inspiration to an older lady as well. So sorry for your loss!

Memories and accolades are not what is to be written at this time, sad to say.   But we are destined to write of Marganne and so I shall.   Sitting in the gallery, at the BHS swim pool, Laura and I, we mom's, would watch the waterpolo games.  Marganne was focused , size not the asset, but she was grit.  Win or lose, this coach commented when he looked for them out of play, they were in the bleachers doing homework.   He laughed. 
At OSU,  one night  Linda and Nancy  were looking for the car.  Who has it?   Marganne ...which prompted Bernie to ask if we need to put another kid on the ins policy?   She was a part of our family always.  Rest Marganne 

Marganne and I worked together on the school newspaper at Beaverton High School, and I have strong memories of her confidence, warmth, and wisdom. It's no surprise that she went on to lead a trailblazing and meaningful life, serving the state of Oregon, cherishing the ecology of our planet, and  caring for her family.  My heart is with all of you, and her memory is pure sunshine.

I have known Marganne "Mugs"! since 7th grade.  We swam together and were Co-Captains of the Water Polo and Swim Team our Senior Year in high school. 

She was beautiful, intelligent and hilarious!  I'll always treasure memories with Marganne.

To Mark and family, I am so sorry for your loss.  I offer my deepest condolences.  I am thinking of you all during this difficult time.

Marganne “Mugs” grew up with my family starting in junior high.  We were on the Beaverton High School swim team together.  She was my sister’s best friend.

We were both keen on the outdoors.  When I was in college, we hiked part of the Rogue River Trail on spring break.  It was my first backpacking trip.  We had a blast.  Later that summer we went backpacking in the  Steens Mountains.

Mugs was always good for a laugh.  She was fun!  Always practical.  She was an extraordinary woman and a gift to humanity.  She will be missed.

My condolences to her husband and children as well as to her brothers Ron and Mark.

Mugs was such a calm and genuine person. We will miss her dearly and wish she could have met my wife and children. My thoughts are with her brothers, Mark and children

Your laughter, your smile, your sense of humor, your kindness. My heart aches. These memories are a blessing.

Marganne was such a fun, intelligent and lovely person.  I have the best memories of times together in school and send the family heartfelt condolences.
