Christopher Phillips

Chris attended Keizer schools and spent his life in the Salem-Keizer area. He had many interests. He loved to fish, pan for gold and was an avid World Wars and Roman Empire history buff. Chris loved cats and named several of them after Roman Generals. Clawdimus Akittyus, Skippyo Africanus, and Marcus Aemilius to name a few.

Chris was preceded in death by his Dad, Jerry Phillips, his Grandparents, Oren and Rose Phillips, Alfred and Ida Hittle, 3 Uncles and 3 Aunts. He is survived by his daughter, Courtney Ray Phillips, his Mother and Step Dad, Linda and David Roberts, Stepbrothers Coby and Tyler Roberts and Stepsister Shannon Harris, Uncle Gary Hittle, Aunts, Joanna Hittle and Dottie Sizemore, Uncle and Aunt Larry and Beverley Phillips and many, many cousins.

Services will be held at Belcrest Memorial Park, 1295 Browning Ave S, Salem, OR 97302 on Dec. 28, 2022 at 2:30pm with a celebration of life to follow with family and friends from 4pm to 6pm at Pietro’s Pizza 1367 Hawthorne Ave, Salem, OR. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Heart Assoc. or a charity of choice.
