Dear Skip, Emily, Liz, and Mrs. Levy,
I am still in shock over Patty's death. It is beyond words.  Patty was unique - she was unstoppable when it came to doing the right thing for her "people."  
She cared so deeply for the seniors and always wanted only the best for them.
Her love for family was central to her.  She was so proud of you, Emily.  She loved getting together on Thanksgiving with the whole family.  
Patty knew how to have a good time and enjoy life,  She was an inspiration.
She will be sorely missed.    The sendoff Patty got at the funeral was beautiful.  She would have loved it

Dear Emily and John, dear Lisa  and Liz and family, at the other end of the globe the saddest news of Patty's fatal accident reached us. We are feeling so much for you and are sending our heartfelt condolences. Patty was visiting you, our dear American Omi Lisa, together with you, dear Emily, and all the three of you  joined us for a cheerful afternoon in our backyard. Patty was warmhearted Mensch with a smart mind, a Mensch who was seeing people. You dear Emily were still a sweet teenager, and the cute toy doggy you gave to little Benediktina was dear to her for many, many years. Patty was rightly proud of you, Emily, back then and for sure until her last day you were her Augenstern! Dear Emily, I feeling so much for you. I was 35 when I lost my mother, and the grief and pain seemed endless. But your mother's love for you will always remain, and guard and guide you. She will live on in your memories, every single precious one, and give you strength and hope. Dear Lisa and Liz and John, we are very sad not being able to comfort you in person. From the bottom of our hearts we wish that you will find consolidation and strength and support in those dark days of your life. John and Emily - I am thinking  of you today as you gather to honor Patty. I am sorry I cannot be there. I know Patty through care of a mutual patient at Satter House. We became friends over the past few years. 
When my mother became ill Patty helped myself and family with obtaining care for her. We will always remember her and be grateful for her help .
Patty was such a wonderful person and friend.

There are no words to convey our deepest sympathies on the horrific loss of your beautiful wife, mom, sister and daughter… Patty!  She was a bright and shining star to everyone she met… our memories are of Patty always smiling!  Unfortunately we didn’t see each other to often but when we did, it was like we had been together always!!!!  She w sadly be missed but hoping your beautiful memories w sustain you in this most difficult time.

The world is poorer for the loss of Patty. There is a great need for people who will speak up and speak out, and Patty was one of them - and loudly too! She spoke for those who could not speak for themselves, it seemed that no fight was too big for her if it was the right thing to do. And she did not give up easily either, she seemed fearless! Some people burn brightly, and Patty was one of them. She  will be sorely missed, by many and one of them is me.

I know I speak for everyone on our small street when I say that Patty was an integral part of our neighborhood. She was selfless, always helping others no matter what the need. Her devotion to the elderly was unsurpassed. She will be sorely missed.

Patty was always there for my mother, Jean, when she was in the final stages of pancreatic cancer.  A tragic loss for the community and people that Patty cared for on a daily basis.  My heartfelt condolences to Skip and Emily.

I am so very sorry to hear of Patty's passing.  She was a wonderful neighbor.  I still remember running into each other while walking our dogs and having long conversations about everything.  One that always stands out in my mind was our chat on potato chips and how the Lays chips that were folded over, "foldies," taste the best.  I totally agreed, but never ran into someone who felt the same and I think our husbands thought we were crazy.  It was years ago and it still makes me smile every time I eat one.  I will open a bag and have a foldie in your memory, Patty.  Judi & Marty

Patty was - is - such an important person in so many lives. She brought sheer glee and mirth and a huge heart into a formative part of my childhood. She taught me to dare to laugh with abandon, and trust my curious spirit. She was my first best friend.
