Although Florence and I didn't see each other for many years, she kept me up to date on the family in a lovely, newsy letter every Christmas - how proud she was of all of you. You must miss her so much, but what a comfort it is to know she is with the Lord, restored in mind/body and gracing heaven with her delightful presence.  I did have the pleasure of seeing Florence again 10+ years ago when she and Diane were staying at Kavanaugh's. Our cabin is near the resort, so I picked up Florence, and we spent a fun afternoon together on our deck yacking/laughing non-stop.  She hadn't changed a bit - perennially tan, smiling and vibrant, which is how I'll always remember her...

Mom, it is getting close to a month since you left for Heaven.  I smile with that, knowing you are with Jesus and all is good, but also with a tear as I miss you.  I shouldn't, because now you are with me each day, and I so feel your presence as I am sitting at the table writing this.  Such a great person, Mom, Grandma, and Greatgrandma you were and always will be.  See you when you welcome me home Mom.  Take care of Princess up there for me.  I know she is giving you tons of kisses!  All My Love, Renee

I did not know Florence but from what I have read she was a wonderful mother and grandmother. My sympathy to Doug and the family.

I remember Aunt Florence and my mom always smoking in the bathroom at different weddings and such.  When I would ask my mom what they were doing, she would say never mind now go inside and play. Her tan and her fancy outfits... and your mom and dad dancing up a storm..

Renee, David and Kids, so sorry for the loss of your mom, mother-in-law, grandma, great-grandma.  I feel like I have known her all my life from the stories Renee has shared with me.  I unfortunately only met her the one time and that was at Renee's dad's wake.  She was a beautiful woman and raised a great daughter in Renee, my friend and sister (we swear we are related because my grandma's maiden name was Cororan and we both think alike, love our dogs, kids, grandkids to the ends of the earth.  I hope each day gets easier for all of you.  You will have all your wonderful memories to help you.

The hope I have is in Christ that I will see my beloved grandma again. It's my prayer that all my friends and family have that same hope so that we can all rejoice together one day.

Mrs. Corcoran "Flo" was everyone's Mom whenever you hung out at the Corcorans for a swim or play day! She would spoil us rotten with food and goodies. She would strut around town with her golden tan and favorite salmon pink lip color that was her trade mark ;). Mrs. Corcoran always made you feel special and always took the time to talk with you and catch up on the latest. She even would watch Days of our Lives with us (Jenns Favorite). it was always fun to run into her from time to time at the store, she never forgot a face. Sending all my love to the Corcoran Family, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Thanks for the great memories "Flo"!

Dear Grammy, 
I miss you so much, but I am happy to know that you are no longer suffering. Thank you for all the wonderful memories. You are always and forever in my heart. Saying goodbye to you was heart breaking but seeing you suffer from dementia was even worse. You were an amazing woman and I so lucky to have been loved by you. I will miss hearing all of your stories.  Thank you for loving me and teaching me what it means to love. I hope you will always be proud of me. Thanks for being our angel. Mom and I will be sure to tell Lilia all about you!! I am so glad that she and I were able to tell you how much we love you before you returned to grandpa and Jesus.  Don't worry I will teach her about the importance of purses and shoes. I love you!!!!!!

I am so sorry in the loss of your mom, grandmother, and mother in law. I have not seen Florence for a long time but I remember her to be such a nice lady. She was a good friend of my Aunt Shirley Nelson. Please accept my sincere condolences and I will be thinking of your family.

My deepest sympathy in the loss of Florence.  We were once 'cabin neighbors' on Clearwater Lake.  I have such fond memories of our summers there, especially  with Douglas, Diane and Renee.
