Penelope June Campbell

Penny was born in Kirkwood, Missouri on April 13, 1942 to Huby Cleveland and Alma Winfred Simpson.

She grew up in Castlewood, Missouri along with her siblings, the late Karen Matlock (Neil), Anna Daves (Leonard), Huby, Jr. (Nita), Charles (Carol), Betty (Earle), and Denis (Mary). She graduated from Eureka High School in 1960. Penny was married to the late John H. Campbell for 36 years. Together they had 3 children, Fonda (Robert) Hendershot, John (Yvonne) Campbell & Caren Campbell Pettid, deceased. The family was sent a special gift from heaven in 1971 in the form of 15 year old Klaudia Helm Krygiel (Mitch).

Penny was also blessed with 13 Grandchildren & 9 Great-Grandchildren. Her life revolved her faith in God, family & friends. She was a true prayer warrior for all she cared about, including our Country.

The family will be accepting visitors on Friday June 28, 2019 at 9 a.m. at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa Street, St. Louis 63109. A service at 11am will follow visitation. Committal Service at Sunset Memorial Park, 10180 Gravois Rd., Affton, MO 63123 at 1pm.
