Mary Lou Venker, age 87, of St. Louis, was fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Jan. 9, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul J. Venker; dear mother of Jennifer (Ryan) Weidenbenner; cherished aunt of Denise Brannon, Kathy Wood, Tammy Brannon, Barbara Johnson, Robert Johnson, Emily Daigh, Alex Lewis, Holly Eastwood, Makenzie Eastwood, Andrew Daigh, Deborah Venker, Jeremy Hagen, Joshua Hagen, Greg Lewis and Patty Lewis. She was preceded in death by sisters Wanda Venker and Shirley Brannon and a brother Cladue Lewis Jr.
Mary Lou was an active member of St. Martin of Tours and its 50 plus club. She also served as a volunteer for many years at St. Louis University Hospital
A funeral service will be held at 10 am Wednesday, January 13, St. Martin of Tours, 610 W. Ripa, St. Louis, Mo. 63125. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation 4-8 pm Tues. Jan 12, Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, 63125.
