Wilbur Tony Fields Jr.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Wilbur Tony Fields Jr. on March 31, 2025, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Born in Jacksonville, Florida, to the late Wilbur Tony Fields Sr.  and Hattie Beatrice Fields on April 14, 1948, he lived a life filled with love and laughter, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and warmth. Wilbur Tony Fields Jr. was the devoted husband of Ava Fields for 54 years, and the proud father of Tommy Fields (Sierra), Mischelle Martyn (Patrick), Lisa Goggins ( Garry), Kelley Piret (Todd), Toni Fields Pavon (Nick), Angela Whitney (Robert), Stephanie Fields, Dominick Fields, Nickalous Fields, and Nathaniel Fields. He leaves behind devoted sisters Marilyn Dunlap, Gwendolyn Delafield (Harold) and brother Kenneth Fields (Gloria) as well as other siblings. He was a cherished grandfather/papi to 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, father-in law Thomas Johnson Sr. and mother-in law Ruth Johnson, brother Michael Fields and brother-in-law Curtis Dunlap Sr. A private celebration of his life will be held where we will share our love and memories. Wilbur Tony Fields Jr. will be deeply missed but never forgotten by a host of in-laws, family and friends
