Sarah Marie Nester

Sarah Marie Nester passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Community Hospice Center for Caring at Baptist Medical Center South after fighting a long and hard battle with cancer the past year. She was born on November 16, 1985 at Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine, FL. She is leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Sarah was an IT Recruiter for many years and loved her job. She enjoyed laughing, shopping and spending time with her family and friends. Sarah was the life of the party and always had a good time wherever she went.

Sarah’s laughter, kindness and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She leaves behind a garden of memories that will continue to bloom in the hearts of her loved ones forever.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Johnny Wilbur Jackson and her paternal grandparents Ollie and Robert Nester.

She is survived by her sons, Braydon and Ny’Kel King, Mother, Wanda Jackson, Grandmother, Hazel Jackson, Sister, Ashley McClain, Brothers, Rocky (Kelli) Nester and Matthew (Brittany) Blanchette, Aunts, Lisa (Ben) Adams and Debbie (Eddie) Stevens, and Uncle, Johnny “Al” (Sherri) Jackson, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Hardage-Giddens St. John’s on Wednesday, December 18 from 5:30-7pm with funeral to follow.

In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to “V” for Victory and Community Hospice.
