Josephine was a remarkable woman who epitomized the American Dream. Arriving in the United States with just $100 at the age of 21, she embarked on a journey filled with determination and perseverance. Starting as a clerk at a small candy company, Josephine's career spanned over 30 years, culminating in her becoming the Vice President of Sales Administration. Beyond her professional success, she was a devoted wife, mother, and friend.
In her retirement, Josephine cherished time spent cruising, traveling, and most of all, being with her grandson, Zachary, engaging in meaningful conversations over her favorite pink cocktail. She had a passion for playing games like Mah Jongg, Rummikub, and Bingo with her friends. She also enjoyed the “occasional” glass of Chardonnay or Manhattan.
Josephine is survived by her daughter, Renee Push, son-in-law James, grandson Zachary, as well as her bonus grandchildren Ariana Brandt (Justin) and Michael Push (Vallerie), and her bonus great-grandchildren Sophia, Lucas, Jameson, and Makena. She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Ralph. Later in life, she found happiness again with the late Anton Boel.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Josephine's life will be scheduled for a later date in New Jersey. Her legacy of hard work, love, and generosity will forever be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to know her.
