Cameron Elizabeth Mahin

Cameron Mahin passed away on June 14, 2023. Cameron was born on October 4, 1999, in Jacksonville, FL and will be remembered as being so full of life and having the most amazing smile and laugh. She enjoyed music (classic rock especially The Doors), traveling, cooking (she was such an amazing cook), going to the beach, seeing the sunrise, playing lacrosse, working out and spending time with family, friends, and her boyfriend. Cameron loved to shop, especially for clothes and could change her outfit three times a day. She loved the color pink and was the grammar police, always correcting those who had the misfortune to write or speak incorrectly to her. When Cameron was growing up, she and her dad referred to each other as “smoothie partners,” their favorite shared drink. She and her mom loved to travel together, including a favorite recent trip to New York City, where they barely scratched the surface of places Cameron planned to visit on their itinerary.

Cameron was deeply loved by all the people whose life she touched. She will be remembered and loved forever by her mother Elizabeth, her father Jeff, her brother Jeffery (Maria), and her sister Nicole (Clayton), her sweet nephews Giancarlo and Carrington, and her boyfriend Dylan. Cameron adored spending time with her dog, Lily who has been renamed Lily-Cameron. She also was surrounded by the love of many wonderful aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family members, primarily in California, Florida, Idaho, and New York. It gives her family comfort to know that she is in Heaven with her loving grandparents: Grandma, Mamu, Papu and Pop.

A Celebration of Cameron’s life will be held on July 1, 2023, at 11 am at the Church of Eleven22, Baymeadows Campus, 8133 Point Meadows Dr., Jacksonville, Fl 32256. A reception will follow at The Bridge at St. Johns Golf & Country Club, 205 St. Johns Golf Drive, St. Augustine, FL 32092.
