Yvonne Louise Kowalczyk went home to be with her husband and her Lord on May 11, 2018. Yvonne was born in San Francisco, California on February 18th, 1920, where she attended Notre Dame…High School. Yvonne moved to Sacramento in 1938, at the age of 18, where she met the love of her life Joseph Kowalczyk. Together they went on to share many years of love and laughter. She enjoyed many activities such as reading and gardening. She was an active member and a faithful attendee of St. Ignatius Loyola Parish, where she was also a dedicated member of the Alter Society. She leaves behind numerous loving friends, whom she shares many wonderful memories with. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 11:00 am at St. Ignatius Loyola Parish. A reception is to follow at The Old Spaghetti Factory, located at 1625 Watt Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95864, where you are invited to continue sharing memories and celebrating Yvonne’s life.
