Walt passed away at the age of 78, on Wednesday May 22, 2013 surrounded by loving family and friends. Walt was born in Arkansas, and moved to California at the age of 13. After completing high school, he joined the army and served in the Korean War. Walt leaves behind his beloved 'bride' of 56 years JoAnn and 2 daughters Diane Elliott and Julie Wolfe, and son in law Bret Wolfe. Walt also leaves behind his 7 grandchildren Shawn, Danielle, Kyle, Brian, Thomas, Renee, and Robert, which he loved dearly. Walt lived in Sacramento for the last 50 years where he owned and operated several businesses the most recent one being over the hill courier service. There will be a memorial service for Walt on Sunday June 9, 2013 at 3:00 pm at Valley Community Church, 3150 Wissemann Drive Sacramento, CA. 95826.
