A native of Sacramento, born April 28, 1932, passed away at Mercy Hospital December 12, 2010 at the age of 78 years. Beloved wife of 59 years to Delbert Russell. Beloved mother to Stephen and Mark Russell and Valerie Vansoest-Russell; five grandchildren, Sarah Ledbetter-Russell, David, Joshua, Rachel and Jordan Russell and two great grandchildren, Taylor and Ashlyn Ledbetter. Roberta was a retired employee for the Sacramento Army Depot. She enjoyed plants and gardening, enjoyed people, loved to read and above all, she loved her family. Friends are welcome for visitation Friday, December 17, 2010 from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home, 5401 Folsom Blvd, 451-7284 and are invited to attend Graveside Services Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Cemetery, 6700 215.
