Leticia S Munoz

Leticia S. Munoz, age 80, a resident of Naperville, Illinois passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Seasons Hospice Home in Naperville. She was born on November 12, 1941 in the Philippines.

Leticia immigrated to the United States in 1966 from the Philippines. She was a proud US NAVY Military wife for 30 years during the time her husband served. She served as an Ombudsman to the young military wives to help them with issues. She also managed a career in food service for many years working for Marriott Hotels as a cook, factory worker at the Dole Cannery, Braniff Airlines food assembly and working as a prep cook at the Honolulu Federal Building.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Joe Munoz; her loving children, James (Gina) Munoz and Jennie (Marlou) Rodriguez; her cherished grandchildren, Jarek, Jorid, Nathan and Gabby, O'Neill, Kona and Jolie.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings.

A funeral service for Leticia will be held Monday, March 21, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 3159 Land Park Drive, Sacramento, CA 95818. A committal service will occur Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, CA 95620.
