2022. He was 88 years old. He was preceded in death by
Patricia, his wife of 64 Years. His parents George and
Anna. His brothers Donald and George. His brother-in-
law and sister-in-law Phil and Gladys Downton.
He is survived by his daughters Karen Woolley (Randy),
Kim Caporali (Francesco), Kelly Procida and sons John
(Christy), and
Jim
Judy).
His sister Teresa Wittman (Frank), sister-in-law's Pat
(Donald) and Bonnie (George) Procida, Shirley Downton,
Joyce Beckwith (Everett), and brother-in-law Jim
Downton (Mary). He leaves six grandchildren, seven
great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and
cousins. He was blessed to have many great friends
throughout his life to include his life-long best friend
Clint Kim.
John was a proud graduate of Sacramento High School
Class of 1952 where he played on the football team. He
had a successful sales career with Made-Rite Sausage
Company, Victor Brand Meats and Tony's Fine Foods. He
was a member of the Dante Club, Romulus Club and the
Arberesh Club just to name a few.
The family would like to thank the staff at The Carlton,
Elk Grove and Latreia Hospice for the love, care and
support they provided to John.
