Gerald Jerry M. Tufteland

Born on December 11, 1923 in Dell Rapids, SD and passed away peacefully in Sacramento, CA at 91 years of age. Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Regina, Brothers Palmer, Norman, Raymond, Allan and Sisters Goldie and Maurine. He is survived by Sister Marilyn Gouge’ of Sacramento and several nieces and nephews. Jerry graduated from Augustana College with a B.A. Degree and received his Master’s Degree at the University of Pittsburg. Jerry taught at the high school level in South Dakota and California for several years. Later years, Jerry served as an English Professor for Glendale College in California.

Jerry was a talented pianist with ‘superlative’ skills. He enjoyed teaching piano students for several years.
