Deborah Ann Wright

1963 - 2021

Dixfield – Debbie Wright, 58, became an angel on July 10, 2021. She was born on May 23, 1963 in Lowell, Mass to Charles M. and Alice (Burke) Wright. Debbie was fortunate to be able to live at home up until the last 3 years of her life, where she then resided at Rumford Community Home.

She attended the local schools and then attended the Hope Associations Community Programs as an adult. They were her 2nd family. There she worked, attended Special Olympics, performed in fashion shows, went bowling, had swimming lessons and many other fun outings. In her younger years Debbie-Doo enjoyed going to camp, snowmobiling, riding her bike, listening to music, dancing and getting piggy back rides. She always had a stuffy by her side.

She leaves behind her parents, Chuck and Alice; her sister Pam Puiia and significant other Victor Austin; and brother Gary Wright and wife Debbie, all of Dixfield; nieces Lee Ann Puiia, Lisa Puiia, Selena Austin, Brittany Wright and Rebecca Wright; and nephew Dylan Wright.

We would like to thank New Hope, Rumford Community Home and Hospice for all their support through Debbie’s life.

The family will be having a private gathering at a later date.
