Richard Nasternak

Richard Nasternak, age 75, of Roswell, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022. He was born on November 27, 1946 in Buffalo, New York. He was the son of the late Walter and Mary Nasternak. He was very proud of his Polish heritage and his Roman Catholic upbringing. Quite often, he would talk about the years he served as an Altar Boy.

Prior to his retirement, Richard (Dick) had been a successful Realtor at Remax Greater Atlanta. It was through the real estate industry that he met Pat, the LOVE of his life, and later married. They spent many years traveling and sharing precious memories and adventures together.

Richard love God, his country, family and friends. He loved watching sports, especially the Atlanta Braves and The Buffalo Bills. He enjoyed dinner gatherings with his beloved friends, Dale and Mike Konieczny. He adored traveling, especially cruising. He was always drawn to the enticing music, cuisine, and adventure of it all. He was well known for a great sense of humor and a knack for connecting with people. He had an inspired sense of hospitality, captivating everyone he came in contact with. Any soul he met never left a stranger. He enjoyed having fun and spending time with family and friends and especially, his grandchildren and great grandchildren. His life and influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew him.

Along with his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his brother, Jerome Nasternak. Survivors include, his wife Pat Arzet Nasternak, of Roswell, his sister, Jeanne Brewer, of Oceanside, California, son and wife, Jeffrey and Abby Nasternak, of Gilbert, Arizona, daughter, Elizabeth Nasternak, of Syracuse, New York, step children that he loved like his own, Karla Beverly, of Dallas, Georgia, Kurtis Arzet, of Marietta, Georgia, and Kathy and Scott Galbreath of Duluth, Georgia. Grandchildren include Wesley and Everett Nasternak of Gilbert, Arizona, Zach Owens wife DruAnne of Blairsville, Georgia, Bo Stalvey wife Olivia of Covington, Georgia, Shelby Sanderson, her husband Patrick of Charleston, South Carolina, Blaine and Zeta Galbreath of Duluth, Georgia. Great grandchildren, Ruger and Mauvi Roux Owens of Blairsville, Georgia, Major Stalvey of Covington, Georgia, and Colt Sanderson of Charleston, South Carolina.
