Mr. Ora K. Coleman

Mr. Ora K. Coleman, 89, native of Roswell, GA passed away on Jan. 29, 2012. He was a member of the Roswell United Methodist Church for 78 years. He was a farmer, master craftsman, bricklayer, woodworker, and animal lover. He loved his Lord, his family, his friends, his heritage. Friendly, helpful and compassionate to all, he sometimes took his animals to show kids at his church & kindergardens. Lived on his farm for over 60 years. Invited all to come to his farm to pet his animals, see his plants & flowers, & have good conversation about the good old days.Worked at Roswell Seating Comapany for over 40 years. A book was written about him called "Ora's Farm." Many articles in newspapers were written about him and his life on the farm.

Mr. Coleman is survived by 12 loving nieces and nephews. Many great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 P.M., Fri., Feb. 3, 2012 and the Funeral will be held at 10 A.M.,Sat. Feb. 4, 2012 both at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Rd., Roswell, GA 30076. Burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery. Contributions may be may to the charity of your choice or Roswell United Methodist Church. Roswell Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
