She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Davis, Sr. and a son, Thomas Preston Davis.
She is survived by two sons, Dennis Ray Davis (Linda) of Cumming, Georgia, and Charles Rockwell Davis, Jr. (Julie) of Macon, Georgia; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
After being raised on the farm in Brooks County, she sought her education and studies at Norman Baptist College, Norman Park, GA; Stetson University, DeLand, FL; and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, New Orleans, LA.
Marguerite met her husband at Norman Baptist College, where they began their life together in Church Ministries throughout Georgia, Florida, and Louisiana.
They settled in Roswell, Georgia in 1962 continuing their ministries throughout this area. Upon Charles passing in 1966, she became an active member of the First Baptist Church of Roswell. At this time of her life, as a single mother, she began a new career with the State of Georgia, working with special needs children.
During this time, and after her retirement, she began traveling with Christian groups throughout the US, Europe and the Holy Land, which was a highlight in her life.
Still she needed to find a place to minister to others. This led to a 25 year relationship with the Fulton County Hospital, in which she voluntarily served as a "Pink Lady."
Her Faith, Family and Church were of utmost importance to her throughout her long life of service. Thanks be to God.
