Mack H. Hale, 71, of Roswell, GA passed away unexpectedly on March 22, 2012. Born in west Texas to Mack and Margarite Hale, Mack began his career as a civilian Air Force Flight Instructor with several of his trainees serving at NASA. He spent the next 40 years in the Floor Covering industry where his contagious enthusiasm and optimism for work and life created strong and enduring relationships. Mack had a deep Christian faith and he lived his life with passion and drive for adventure. He loved motorcycles, flying, fast cars, running and later in life, riding four wheelers with his grandkids. Mack is survived by his wife and best friend of 49 years, Joyce and his sons, Hampton (Rose) Hale and Garrett (Jennifer) Hale; grandchildren: Sophie, Jack, KiKi, Zach, and Charlie; sister, JoAnn Ripper. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jere Billings. Visitation will be from 6-8pm Sunday, March 25th and the Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on March 26th, both at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Rd, Roswell, GA 30076. Donations may be made to The American Heart Association in Mack’s honor. Roswell Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
