Kathryn Jones Mabry

Kathryn was born December 26, 1941 in Rome, Georgia to the late Charles Delay Jones and the late Christine Lillian Cochran.

Kathy graduated from Johnson High School in Rome, GA where she was voted “Most Friendly” and “Best All Around” by her peers. She was also a cheerleader and played basketball.

Kathy loved caring for others, and was a wonderful homemaker for her family. She enjoyed assembling puzzles, and was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves. She also enjoyed baking and cake decorating, sewing, bowling and fishing.

She was a kind, loving, supportive and generous spirit whose most cherished memories were times spent with family and close friends.

Kathy is survived by: a daughter, Sonya Mabry, a son, Mike Mabry and daughter in law Angie Mabry, and daughter, Jan Mabry and daughter in law Ashley Wilson; 3 grandsons: H. Seth Allen and wife Lindsay, Jacob Attell and husband Brandon, and Will Mabry; 2 granddaughters: Ava Grace Mabry and Hannah Mabry; 2 great grandsons: Cash and Cade Allen; her siblings: William Jones, Brenda Jones Redd, John Paul Jones and Charlene Odom; and her beloved Yorkie, Zoey.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Robert K. Mabry and her brother, Thomas James Jones.

A visitation for Kathryn will be held Sunday, May 7, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, GA 30076, followed by a funeral service at 10:00AM.
