A message from Nick on the night Kathy passed:
It is with a heavy and heartbroken heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife, Kathy Ward Ferrante, passed away tonight after a multiyear battle with dementia. Kathy was an amazing women who was beautiful inside and out, smart, funny, passionate, and always the life of the party. Most important to her was her family. Together we raised two wonderful daughters, Jackie Ferrante West and Krissy Bignon, who she could not be more proud of. Additionally, she loved her grandchildren (Nick, Harrison, Kate, and Avery), who even late in her illness always brought a smile to her face. Kathy and I shared a deep love for each other, and had an amazing life together. Though I would have loved to have enjoyed our golden years together, for the time we had together was truly a blessing. Heaven received an angel tonight and we are at peace that she is whole again with our Heavenly Father.
