June Craig Smith

After being raised in Gastonia, NC, she moved to Memphis, TN and then resided in Atlanta most of her life with her late husband, Herbert of 53 years. June spent many years as a talented interior decorator. She was also a very devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Craig Smith Burke; her husband, Herbert Eugene Smith; her parents, her sister, Mary Lewis “Mamie” Bryant and her brother, William “Bill” Craig, Jr. She is survived by her sons, Bert and Hardy (Terrie) Smith, grandchildren, Lindsay Burke O’Neal (Chris), Peter Marks, Taylor Smith, Matthew Smith and Payton Smith, great grandchildren, Hunter and Caroline O’Neal; sister-in-law Clarissa Henry Craig and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 1:00 at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, GA 30076 with a reception immediately following.
