Jerry was born on March 16, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son to the late Gladys and Harry Lampe.
Jerry attended grade school in Missouri and later graduated with a Masters of Arts degree from Webster University.
He was a very kind, generous, and tender soul. He was always there for anyone in need. Jerry devoted 22 years to the Metropolitan Employment and Rehabilitation Service as a job counselor for disadvantaged individuals.
He loved playing the guitar, bowling, and was a big fan of trivia. He also enjoyed board games and looking into his family’s genealogy. Jerry always made time to cheer for his favorite baseball team, the St. Louis Cardinals. He was truly a joy to be around and will be missed by all who had the opportunity to know and love him.
Along with his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia and his brother, Thomas Lampe.
Jerry is survived by his sister, Judith Schoemer; his brother, Harry Lampe, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and cousins.
