Jay was an avid sportsman and active in both men's tennis and soccer in the area. He worked as a Project Manager and Program Manager in Columbus, Georgia as well as throughout the Atlanta area.
Jay attended high schools in Mannheim and Frankfurt, Germany and played German Youth Club soccer before graduating from Rogers High School in Newport, Rhode Island. He studied at Central Texas College, University of Maryland, Munich Campus before attending and graduating from the University of Georgia in 1994.
Jay is survived by his Father; Thomas M. Schwartz, Step-Mother; Linda J. Schwartz, Mother; Donna B. Schwartz, Sister; Melanie G. Hall, his Son; Jackson T. Schwartz, Nephew; Spencer V. Hall, Step-Brother; Andrew S. Craig, his wife Jaime Craig and Jay's nieces, Gillian and Peyton Craig. He also has a loving Aunt; Debbie Bond and Cousins; Shannon Kilgore and Michael Bond.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Roswell Funeral Home at 10:00 am on May 27, 2017. An inurnment of the urn will follow at the adjacent Green Lawn Cemetery and Mausoleum at 950 Mansell Road in Roswell. Light refreshments at Roswell Funeral Home following the inurnment.
