She is the middle child with two older and two younger brothers. She remained close to her brothers and other family members. Visiting family was something she always looked forward to. She also had a close relationship with members of her husband, Roger’s family. The delight of her life occurred in 1976, when her daughter, Lucia was born.
Survived by her loving husband, Roger Newstrom, daughter Lucia McElveen (Mac), brothers Major General, G. Wesley Clark, Retired, Tony Clark (Edra), Michael Clark, and much loved nieces and nephews. And, was preceded in death by her mother, Faye Clark, father, Reverend Frank Clark, and brother Niles Clark.
She had a genuine love for her church, Roswell First Baptist, where she volunteered for ten years, part of that time as director of the church library. Her other interests included her love of pets, dogs and cats, and collecting Blenko, handmade glass from her home town of Milton, WV. She was a member of the Peach State Depression Glass club, where she had made many close friends.
