Betty Ann Crowder

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Crowder; parents, Mabel and Harry Brady; brother, Harry Brady Jr; sisters, Lenore Brady, Alice Brady Austin; and foster daughter, Donna Jenkins.

She is survived by her only child Patti Crowder and brothers, Ted Brady and Dick Brady.

Betty was a wonderful mother to Patti as well as being a foster mother to several children for the Children’s Center of Atlanta. One girl in particular (Donna) had cerebral Palsy and Betty took care of her from age 8 months to 42 years of age. That takes a special kind of person to handle that kind of responsibility. She will certainly be missed by her remaining family and all who had the pleasure of knowing Betty.

A visitation for Betty will be held Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, GA 30076. A graveside service will occur Friday, August 18, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, 3000 Lawrenceville Highway, Tucker, GA 30084.
