Bertha Hall Cox

Mrs. Cox was born on March 25, 1927, and grew up in the Sharon Community of Forsyth County, GA. She graduated from Forsyth County High School and spent her adult life living in the Atlanta area. She worked for Rich’s Department Store until retirement and then became a volunteer at North Fulton Hospital for many years. Throughout her lifetime, she was a faithful and active servant of her Lord and a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Huie L. Cox; parents, Joseph “Swift” and Nettie Terry Hall; brothers, Dallas Hall, Eloy Hall, Leland Hall, Talmadge Hall, and sister, Thelma Fauscett.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Cox Mann (Keith), son, William (Bill) Cox (Mary); grandchildren, Hannah Cox, Meredith Cox, Madeleine (Maddie) Cox, Keith Mann, Jr., and Michael Mann.

A private family graveside service will be held at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell, GA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Samaritan’s Purse or World Vision.
