He was born on May 6, 1958 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Lillian (Jean) Virginia Silvers and Donald Elwyn Jordan. He grew up in Roswell, Georgia where he attended Roswell High School.
Throughout his life, Barry enjoyed boating, live music and golfing. He was also a huge movie buff, always finding time for the latest film. Most of all, Barry loved spending quality time with his family and friends. A close-knit bond created by the love and joy he constantly shared and he will be missed by all those that had the honor to know him.
His memory will be cherished by his loving daughters, Stephanie and Whitney Jordan; sister, Donna Jordan McClung and brother-in-law, David McClung Jr.; dear friend and mother of his daughters, Cheryl Lewis and good friend, Van Lewis, and many extended family members and friends.
The Jordan family will receive friends on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at 2:00pm at Roswell Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life to follow that will be officiated by his dear friend and brother in Christ, Frank Sturgill.
