Aubrey James Ronald Williams age 92 of Suwanee GA passed away July 16th. He enjoyed reading, golf, music, travel, running, and time spent with family and friends. Born in Lansdowne, Ontario, Canada he graduated from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
He had a successful career as an Electrical Engineer designing mass transit systems in domestic and international locations. He served as Chief Electrical Engineer during the design of Atlanta’s MARTA rail system and Washington DC’s subway.
He was a WW II Veteran of the Canadian Army, a member of the Association of Professional Engineers (PE) in Quebec and Georgia.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Alice and is survived by his daughters Myra, Nancy, Kelly, his son Kevin and his grandchildren Dustin, Sean, Ian, Meghan, Adrian, Lillian, Elyse, Jessica and Caitlin.
Funeral mass will be held Friday July 20th 10:30 AM at St. Benedicts Catholic Church in Johns Creek.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be dedicated to Queen’s University, Queen’s Student Financial Assistance Fund in his name
