Viola (Cloud) Coolahan, age 96 of Roseville, MI passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024. Viola was born and raised in Kentucky to parents Greenberry and Bertha (Pressley) Cloud and was of one of 10 siblings. Known for her infectious smile and dimples; she radiated with that true southern belle charm. She was always a joy to be around and loved by everyone she knew or met.
Viola was a very spiritual women; spending hours praying and reading her Bible. Unable to get out much during and after Covid; she’d get her preaching on TV and was never shy to tell you who was legit and who was a scam. She was a very gracious and generous women and quietly supported many non-profit and charitable organizations. Pre-Covid she enjoyed gardening and planting flowers. So much so she is determined her job in Heaven will be God’s gardener. She also enjoyed boating and fishing. She loved to dress up and go out dancing but never really needed an excuse to get herself “all gussied up”. On occasion she liked to hit the one-arm bandits (slot machines). Maybe more than she would like to admit; but having once won a new Mustang GT convertible, who could blame her?
Viola lived a long, full, and blessed life. Having outlived three husbands and all her siblings and their spouses she would tell you with a smile on her face and joy in her voice, she was ready to “go Home” when the good Lord was ready for her. She was truly a blessing to all of us and will be missed dearly.

• One great-granddaughter Krystal Adams
She is survived by

• Three grandchildren James Adams, spouse Bernadette; Rhonda (Adams) LaValley, spouse Dave; and Jeff Adams
• Nine great-grandchildren Ana Adams; Shawnee Quin; Parker Adams; Sabastian Adams; Dylan Adams; Christian Adams; Jon Miscovich; Rosie Miglorie; and Donavan Adams
• Two great-great grandchildren Kristal Adams and James Woodruff
• Countless nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews
