I had the privilege of serving as Tom's pastor in Florida for a couple of years. He is among the finest men I have ever known.He was the epitome of what a deacon and servant in the church should be. He was one of my closests friends. I am heartbroken to learn of his passing, crying as I write this. My joy is to know I will see him again.

Tex was quite a guy to work with. You could never accuse him of being a goof off. He took a lot of teasing, but came back with a few of his own. I worked along side of him quite a bit in the substations. He did love his overtime!! His family can be proud of him.

"Dad", as I always called him was very special to me. I will never forget how he would say to me that he couldn't be prouder of me and my teaching if I were his own.  He would always tell me that I wasn't married yet because God was having trouble picking someone for somone was special as me. We might not have been related by blood but he will forever live in my heart as "Dad".

I had the honor of coming to know both Tom and Caroline thru the prayer chain at our church. They were both very spirit filled believers who loved the Lord with all their hearts. Tom's devotion in caring for Caroline before she passed spoke volumes about what marriage vows for "better or worse" meant. I told him that one day he would hear the Lord say "well done good and faithful servant". So that time has now come and I take comfort in knowing that one day I will see them again where we will worship and praise God forever! In Christ ~ Deb and Ron Boddington

I worked with Tom at Conners Creek Power Plant in DEtroit. He was a good friend (we all called him TEX I do not know why). Very sorry to read about his passing. God Bless. Roger Gauthier
