Rita Helen Jones, age 87 of St. Clair Shores, Michigan, (formerly of Warren, Michigan) passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022. Beloved wife of Joe; preceded in death (Rita referred to him as “my Joe”) married for 38 years. Dear mother of Paula Peruzzi (Keith) of Sterling Heights, Michigan, Lisa Jones, of Warren, Michigan, and John Jones (Darlene) of Macomb, Michigan. Rita is preceded in death by parents, John and Pauline Rosa and 11 siblings.
Rita retired from Van Dyke Public Schools in 1992 after 20 years of service working as a Bus Driver and Cafeteria Assistant. She has received awards from Macomb County Transportation Directors Association for Excellence in Transportation and Certificate of Merit from the City of Warren for Excellence in Traffic Safety during her career as a Bus driver.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 27830 Gratiot Ave, Roseville, Michigan 48066 (Gratiot Ave and Martin Road). Burial will take place at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East in Clinton Township, Michigan.
