Gary Francis Frey, age 69, passed away August 21, 2019 at his home, in Canadian Lakes, MI, surrounded by his family. He was born May 9, 1950 in Detroit, MI to the late Romelda Frey and attended St. Rose's Catholic School. He married Suzanne June Affer on September 6, 1969, they were married 50yrs.
Gary is survived by his wife Suzanne, Children; Gary Jr, Scott (Sara) Frey, Angela (Brian) Schwentek, grandchildren; Brian Brooklyn, Hunter Schwentek and Sean Frey.
He worked at Spartan Grinding as a Truck Driver for over 20yrs, retiring in 2012. He then moved to Canadian Lakes, MI.
Gary will be fondly remembered by his family and friends as a loving husband and father. His incredible sense of humor and witty Comments will be greatly missed. He truly loved life to the fullest with simple pleasures such as hunting, fishing and was an avid Football fan. He enjoyed being around friends and family and his dog Cabella. He was a man with a great big heart & everyone who knew him loved him.
A Funeral Service will be held 7:30PM Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Kaul Funeral Home-Roseville. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8PM. Cremation to follow services.
