Constance "Connie" Powell

Constance was born June 24, 1942 in Marshalltown, Iowa. She passed away in Roseville, CA at the age of 80 years old. Constance is survived by her daughter Denise Lyngstad, granddaughters Elyse Storace, Alyssa McClain, Haley Lyngstad, great-grandson William Powell, great-granddaughters Harper and Scarlett Storace, brother Charles Dawes Moore, nephew Charles Moore, cousin Phyllis Hootman, niece Korrie Andrews, and many more caring family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother Barbara Paxson, son Douglas A. Powell, grandson Samuel J. Powell and niece Kim Stewart

Connie worked for Ma Bell for more than 30 years only to retire and begin another career with H&R Block. Before she retired from Pacific Bell, she spent her free time volunteering for the Telephone Pioneers of America

She always put others first making sure that her family was always taken care of. She loved spending time with her beloved grandchildren, working her veggie garden and taking naps. She loved Christmas, decorating her house, reading, watching TV, yard sales, and playing BUNCO with friends.

She will be missed by all but we find comfort knowing that she is in heaven with family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Lambert Funeral Home, in Roseville on April 14th from 1-5pm.

A Celebration of Life will be held this summer.
