Bink, Binky, Bebe, and B were just some of the nicknames given to her by her cousins, aunts, and uncles from the very beginning. As a young child, the family moved back to Sacramento, where she found a passion for sports, particularly basketball and football, through her relationship with her father. Bianca was so talented in her attention to sports that friends from college would ask her to watch their games and for her to provide them feedback. Bianca is an alumnus of Grant Union High School, where she was the assistant girls basketball coach from 2008 to 2009.
Bianca also had a love for southern comfort food. It was her love for food that she pursued culinary school, where she learnt how to prepare a variety of dishes and learnt the professional use of kitchen tools and equipment, earning her Associates Degree in Culinary Arts in 2011.
Bianca lived a life filled with tremendous passion and service towards others, but it was at Del Paso Union Baptist Church where Bianca felt at home from the love and support of her church family. Bianca enjoyed the simplest pleasures in life, like a quiet evening in the backyard listening to 90’s R&B or gospel music. You would often see Bianca driving around town spontaneously stopping by to visit her friends and family. Where she would give love to those who needed it and fill hearts with laughter through a joke.
Our beloved Bianca Jones passed away peacefully on October 3, 2024, at 33 years of age. She is preceded in death by her father Archie Jones (2018) and survived by mother Deborah Jones, sisters Ashley and Dr. Kortney Jones, nephew Dominique Walker Jr., and a host of family and friends.
