It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bessie. She departed this world on October 18, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

Bessie, Mom, Gramma Nana, Grandma Moore, was a loving mother to her two children, a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren, and a proud great-grandmother to thirteen little blessings. Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she poured her heart and soul into nurturing and cherishing each generation.

A fiercely independent spirit, Bessie lived life on her own terms, demonstrating resilience and fortitude. She was not only a matriarch but a symbol of strength. She overcame life’s challenges with courage, proving that one can find independence and power within themselves, even in the face of adversity. She taught us to keep our faith and that challenges could be overcome.

In her 77 years, Bessie created cherished memories, shared countless stories, and built lasting bonds with family and friends. Her presence illuminated the lives of those she touched, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who were touched by her warmth and wisdom.

May she rest in eternal peace, knowing that her love and spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives of those she left behind.
