She was fluent in Polish and English and delighted in playing Polkas with her accordian which was a gift from her mother including the accompanying music lessons despite their poverty. Her skill with the accordian transferred nicely into her ability to play the organ and piano.
She married Boleslaw Naguszewski on August 28, 1954, and they shared a life together for 57 years and raised two sons. They moved to Rome in 1993 from Landing, New Jersey. She was cub scout den mother, fundraiser and devoted mother to her family instilling in her sons a deep love for God, country and family as well as the importance of education. Throughout her life, Mary was devoted to our Blessed Mother, prayed for her family and for the intentions of all those in need of God’s help, Mercy and Grace.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Aniela, her husband Boleslaw, Fluffy her beloved dog as well as her sisters, Helen, Veronica and Jane.

Her family also sends their love and gratitude to the staff at the Spires and Heyman Hospice for their care and attention while freely giving part of themselves so that our mother was happy and well cared for which gave her family peace of mind.
