Doris Preston LeMaster

Mrs. LeMaster was born December 12, 1931, daughter of the late Ervin Preston and Nellie Castle Preston (River, KY). She was raised in eastern Kentucky, but was a longtime resident of Grove City, Ohio. Doris retired from South-Western City School after 34 years of service as an elementary teacher- her love being the third grade. Mrs. LeMaster was not only a graduate from Ohio State University but an avid fan. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Yellow Springs, OH, and lifetime member of the Lowmansville Order of the Eastern Star. In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her loving husband, Estil LeMaster.

Mrs. LeMaster is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Denise & Tom DuCharme of Rome, GA; granddaughter, Nicole Moyer and husband, Robert of Amelia, OH; brother and sister-in-law, Carlos and Gladys Preston of River, KY; two sisters and brother-in-law, Gloria June and Raymond Daniel of Dacula, GA, and Goldia Kathryn Grim of River, KY; several other wonderful in –laws in the LeMaster family, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A graveside and interment service was held on February 22, 2014 at 1:00 PM in the Castle family cemetery in River, KY.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.

Daniel’s Funeral Home in Rome, GA has charge of the arrangements and Preston Funeral Home will coordinate graveside rites in River, KY.
