Nana was born in Carrollton, Georgia on January 7, 1950. She worked at Iron Mountain for several years before retiring as an accounting supervisor. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved her family and always made sure they were taken care of. She loved cooking for everyone and they all called her Nana.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, David Black; her children, Cheryl Kirk, Gwen Massey, Johnnie Black and Paige Black; her grandchildren, Christopher Cox, Josh Wallace, Cayla Thompson, Sam Stenson; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Adams.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 27, 2024, at Daniel’s Funeral Home from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
