Wilma Jean Townzen, 92, of Rogers passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021. She was born June 24, 1929, in LaRue to the late George Bland and Mae Lee Bland. Mrs. Townzen was also preceded by her adoring husband of 30 years, Herschel Townzen; a grandson, Phillip Patton; 3 sisters and 3 brothers. Wilma was a charter member of Temple Baptist Church in Rogers. She enjoyed working in her yard, fishing and quilting. Survivors include her son, Gary (Brenda) Townzen; a granddaughter, Cari Townzen of Lowell; 2 grandsons, Derek (April) Townzen and Kiley Townzen of Rogers; a sister, Martha Wierick of Rogers; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; numerous extended family members and dear friends. Services will be held Thursday, November 18, 2021 in Temple Baptist Church in Rogers with the Visitation beginning at 1:00pm and her Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery.
