Ollia Mae "Christine" Wilcox

Christine was a very special and kind wife, mother, and friend. If you knew her, you loved her. She retired after 41 years of working for Johnson & Johnson. She was an avid member of Immanuel Baptist Church, and she spent a lot of time with her church family before she became ill. She will be dearly missed by those who knew her.

She is preceded in death by: beloved daughter, Janet Schue, her parents, and two sisters.

She is survived by: her husband of 73 years, “Fred” Wilcox; son Michael Wilcox (Liz); friend of 33 years and caretaker, Jeanne Simmons; and her loving dog, “Nubbin.” She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Victoria Michalek, Dale Stephen Schue, Caty, Cormac, Eamon, Declan, and Darian Wilcox; and her son-in-law Dale F. Schue. Also, her first great-grandson, Malcom John, is due to be born in October.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 16th at Rollins Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00pm. Funeral service will be held the following Tuesday, October 17th at Rollins Funeral Home. Interment will be directly following services at 1:30pm at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
